I left home on New Years Day 2004, with my vehicle packed with skis, snowshoes, mountain bike, and any other gear I thought I might get to use while visiting my friends Brad and Kristin in Colorado. The trip started with a couple day’s visit with some of my relatives in Columbus, Ohio.
